Second Story Restaurant

This was a very pleasant experience. A very small place but OMG! It delivers. The food was about as perfect as could be. The ambience was quaint and very relaxing. The food was very good. This is an adult place which makes it real nice. Definitely going back to try the rest of the menu. Across from a small and a couple of miles from the beach.

The servers were really nice! Good was good. Vegan options available.

Fun bar and restaurant with inspired options, like fondue, chicken and waffles, Great burgers. Good fries and daily brunch until 1 and happy hour 4-7.

We were there during Happy Hours, we enjoyed the food, ambience, and friendly service.

The happy hour had great prices on awesome food! They have one of the few good steaks I've ever been able to find in California. The staff is wonderful.

Appetizers are good. Never had a full dinner. Mostly bar type place but good atmosphere to hang out.

Went for an after-work happy hour. Food was okay and a little pricey. They were way understaffed and the bartender/server kept forgetting orders and getting them mixed up. Can't really blame them because it was one person for over 30 people that showed up.

Breakfast is a bit pricey, but overall good food.

Sensational experience

We went there during happy hour, and the food was fantastic. My fiancé is very picky when it comes to food, and she loved everything that we tried. The service was also very quick and attentive, even though there only appeared to one bartender and one server.

I was happily impressed with the Second Story Restaurant (at least with their Happy Hour). The Second Story Restaurant had a happy hour everyday from 4-7PM with some daily specials with some good food/drink deals and a delicious pork entree. If you valet here at the Belamar Hotel (where the restaurant is located - just go into the lobby to the second floor on the stairs), it's free. The Hotel is after you get to Rosecrans on your right side so just make that first right and you'll see it. The Second Story Restaurant is a surprise. Thanks to the friendly staff and the ease of coming in and out/happy hour deals.

Great if you're staying at the hotel, but nothing too special to go out of your way for if you live in the area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Located in the second floor of the Belamar Hotel, the Second Story eat & drink restaurant and bar has a friendly and inviting contemporary settings overlooking Valley St. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great place for a social gathering as it feels low key. It offers a full bar with draft beer on tap. Happy hours runs 4PM to 7PM daily except on Sundays. Good offering of wines and champagne. There are three TV showing sports however not all seat areas are able to view them. Also offer a decent variety of appetizers and dinner portions to please all appetites. Prices range from $6 to $32 per plate.

Relaxed, chic vibe. The food was AMAZING (the steak is to die for) and the staff is so incredibly friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place! They also have live music on Sunday nights! What's not to love?

This restaurant is located on the Second Floor of the Hotel. The valet parking is free, which is pretty awesome!I came here at 6PM and it was happy hour. I got the meatball sliders as well as the fish tacos. Fish Tacos were bomb! Meatball sliders were good too. Makes me want to make them myself because it looks so simple, but yet, tasty. Service was good. Pretty quite during the time I came. I recommend giving this place a shot.

Service is horrible, took about 20 minutes for us to get our drinks of a family of 4, the kids Mac and Cheese is very bland, cost was 9$ for a kids Mac and Cheese, tried to add salt and pepper salt hardly came out which makes me think they haven’t been cleaned out and the pepper came out stale, would not recommend, there are better restaurants in a bout a 5 minute walk or so

Second time coming and the service and food was on point.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Found this place by googling "fancy breakfast Manhattan Beach". Our breakfast had what felt like breakfast food infinity and beyond. My friend and I ordered omelettes and we helped ourselves to pineapple, watermelon, toasted fresh bread, butter, breakfast meats, and iced coffees. I thought the sixteen dollar price tag was more than fair for what it included. The atmosphere was minimalistic and modern yet welcoming at the same time. We loved our server and he was so accommodating toward us for our almond milk requests. Can't beat the complimentsry valet parking. I enjoyed the vibe at Second Story in Belamar Hotel.

Great food and our waitress, Genka, has a sparkling personality, she really makes you feel welcome!
